Transition of varieties within Canadian wheat classes
The Canadian Grain Commission is taking steps to protect the quality, consistency and end-use performance of premium milling classes of wheat. Varieties that do not meet the revised quality parameters for the Canada Western Red Spring and Canada Prairie Spring Red classes will be reassigned to the Canada Northern Hard Red class.
